MTLE Match Studies
MTLE Match Study tables provide information about possible alignment of some of the knowledge and skills contained within the MTLE framework for a test field with other conceptualizations of the knowledge and skills of a field. They were produced using the Minnesota Rules for Teachers that were publicly available at the time of framework development.
In the preparation of the Match Study tables, the alignment of an MTLE test objective with rules documents was indicated if the content of a standard was covered, in whole or in part, by the MTLE test objective. For some MTLE objectives, multiple rules were aligned with the content of an MTLE objective. An indication of alignment in the Match Study table does not necessarily imply complete congruence of the content of an MTLE test objective with any associated rule.
