- demonstrating understanding of how dance knowledge and skills can reinforce learning and understanding in other disciplines

For example:
- identifying the various career and recreational opportunities available in dance creation, performance, analysis, and technology
- demonstrating knowledge of the preparation and work habits required for dance-related vocations and avocations
- recognizing how skills developed in dance are applicable to a variety of careers and recreational pursuits
- understanding ethical and legal issues in dance performance and production
