Special Education Core Skills (Birth to Age 21)

The Special Education Core Skills (Birth to Age 21) examination includes two subtests. Candidates must take and pass both subtests to qualify for a Minnesota license in this field. You may take one or both subtests at one test appointment. Read important information about registering for subtests.

Format	Computer-based test (CBT); 50 multiple-choice questions per subtest

Passing Score	Subtest 1: 231 Subtest 2: 230 Examinees must pass both subtests.
